What a great Art! I saw your Art at the Playa in 2012? maybe 2011?
Will you be there again?
I loved and still remember your Vehicle!
I would like to ask you how to build this awesome flaming chandelier.
Did you do this on your own?
Hello! I first brought A Moveable Feast to Burning Man in 2012. I brought it in 2013 and 2014 as well. I’m not sure if I bring it again in 2015, or if I build some new art. 🙂
Did you see my post on the Flaming Chandelier? http://davgut22.dreamhosters.com/kinetic-sculpture/a-flaming-chandelier/ Ultimately it’s not too complex. The copper is silver soldered together so it can withstand its own heat. It just takes a little bit of metal work, but copper is a forgiving metal to play with. If you’re interested in buying one, Ken and I can make you one of your own.

When I first immigrated to USa in 1973 I saw an exhibition at MOMA san francisco.
I was blown away by the work of Don Potts, His first car exhibit
When I fully immigrated in 1974 I met donal Potts thru my brother in law, an architect Mark from skidmore Owens Merril
I was and am still in awe of the work he achieved. I was at a lunch in his studio in Oakland. He kindly showed me his studio and gave me a copy of his book. My first car. I know that he was going to leave the Bay area to meditate.
What ever happened to him?

I’m not sure I know Don Potts. Is that a relative of Bob Potts?
