I got asked to build a Butcher’s Rail to hang over a lunch counter at a vegetarian restaurant in Venice called Butcher’s Daughter.

The first thing I did was mock up the project Solidworks to simulate how it would look.
She wanted a raw look, so I grabbed some hot rolled steel and started bending.
I laid it all out and assembled it at the shop.
Hanging it took a couple of guys but really wasn’t too bad.
As a side project I also built and installed some custom foot rails for the lunch counter.
